First of all it takes three days to make the dough.  This dough consist of a classic croissant dough containing as many as 100 layers of butter and dough.  Once you have the dough, instead of treating it like a croissant, you treat it like a donut.  This means instead of cutting it into a triangle, rolling it up, proofing it then baking it, you cut it round like a donut, let it proof, then you deep fry it like a donut. In the case of the Cinnamon Sugar Kronut, you roll the warm Kronut in cinnamon sugar.
